Sarah has a proven track record of working in collaboration within a public & private sector context. Having held senior management roles within education, Sport England, the Youth Sport Trust & local government Sarah is well placed to lead the Network, provide strategic support & give the creative edge to service design. Her sport is long distant running; she is learning to speak spanish & her favourite colour is blue and her favourite animal is a giraffe!
Wilson is currently in his 11th year working in Southwark and he is responsible for creating CPD opportunities for teachers, particularly in the primary sector where traditionally they have had little or no training in delivering high quality PE and sport. He has recently got married in Greece and his favourite sport is athletics. He is also the current under 9’s head coach at the Millwall Football Club academy.
Glyn is starting his 11th year in network and has been a PE teacher for over 20 years. He is the tall one whose main responsibility is special needs provision and support across the borough. He also runs the apprentice programme and helps with any swimming problems that may arise. He supports West Ham and loves horses, especially when they win! He is proud to be part of the Network and making a real difference to children’s sporting lives across the borough.
Josh has been with the network since completing an internship in summer 2015. He has experience in the organising and delivery of competitions across Southwark and enjoys working with young people. He enjoys most sports especially football, supporting Tottenham, and boxing. His favourite foods are Caribbean & Japanese and he loves travelling.

George has really enjoyed bringing his experiences from voluntary work around the borough to the team. His favourite sport is boxing. He was a boxing amateur champion and became a novice having 7 fights losing only 1. He supports local team Millwall and his favourite colour is blue.
Michelle Ginn – firstname.lastname@example.org
Michelle is settling into her new role as School Sport Activator, specialising in sport. She is looking forward to using her experience from the last year with the network and her degree in Physical and Sport Education, to increase sporting opportunities in schools across the borough. Her favourite sports are Netball and Swimming, her favourite colour is green and she loves to travel!
Joe is one of our newest members of the team and has taken on the role of Assistant School Sports Manager at the network. Having spent the last nine years working in one of our primary schools he brings a vast amount of knowledge from the primary sector. This year he will be working very closely with Wilson to help develop the teaching and learning of PE in Southwark. Joe is a sports enthusiast himself participating in a variety of sports outside of work. Most weekends you will finding him following his favourite football team Manchester United, who he regards as the greatest football team ever, or his favourite rugby team Leicester Tigers.

Jessica has experience working in primary schools, the NHS and Hillingdon Council to deliver nutrition, health and wellbeing programmes helping adults and children increase physical activity, improve their diets and lead a healthy lifestyle. She previously worked with LPESSN running nutrition workshops to children and parents in primary schools across Southwark as part of their health and wellbeing programme. She likes keeping active and is on a mission to sign up and complete some 10ks over the next year!

Monica completed her internship with us during the 2015/16 summer term soon after finishing her BA hons degree in Physical Education and Sport at University of Greenwich. She is now settling in her new role as an Assistant School Sport Activator. She is eager to continue helping the Network in the provision of high quality school sport competitions, sporting activities and the sports leagues to ensure that all young people take part in sport. Monica wants to gain more experience working with SEN students and she loves to travel, read and to eat Japanese food. Her favourite sport is volleyball.

Danny is the new apprentice working for the network. He has just finished 2 years at Bacon’s College Sixth Form studying Sport and Business. He is looking forward to teaching a wide range of skills to many different schools and is eager to learn how to become a great PE teacher and train to teach a great lesson of PE to all ages. His favourite sport is Taekwondo and has been training and entering in competitions since the age of 9. He is a big fan of all different martial arts including Boxing and loves swimming. He is glad to be a part of the team and is eager to face the challenges ahead.
